Weldon Spring is back! Weldon Spring is the site of more than 50 tactical battles from 1975-1990 and is where the hobby really got going in the U.S.

Weldon Spring is located on the northwest side of St Louis near the Missouri River. It is easy to get to with major roads, and there are lots of services nearby. The site is 1655 acres and has many buildings, rubble and foundations.

Weldonkrieg will be held March 28-30 as a generic western front tactical. The cost is $25 to attend and that includes a Saturday night catered meal. There will be battles on Saturday and one on Sunday morning.

There is barracks space available but it only has 75 spaces. It is filling up fast and the option will be removed from the registration site once it is filled. There is plenty of room to camp and we are coordinating camp sites now. Vending is free, although inside space is limited and requires reservations.

Organizers are not looking for numbers but quality reenactors. They will be enforcing authenticity standards, so please come with your hair cut, and your impression tight. This is a private, tactical battle. Pre-registration is required

The interest organizers have gotten on this event has been extraordinary. After 12 days of registration, they already have 140+ with 33 WWII vehicles, and verbal commitments for 10 more. We will have armor on both sides based upon the commitments we have so far.
