Dave Newman has been long-involved in the HMV hobby, first as a participant and then, in 1999, when he opened Eastern Surplus and Equipment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Today, his company carries a full line of military vehicles including M35A2s, M809s, M939s, FMTVs, HEMTTs, LMTVs, MK48s, Oshkosh M1070s, HETs, trailers, water buffalos, and M915/M916s as well as MRAPs and fire trucks! In addition to military vehicle sales, Eastern has a full line of vehicle parts and offers complete vehicle service, repairs and custom design and fabrication.
When Newman isn’t working at the shop or making deals, he still likes to get away to a few shows and rallies, his favorite remains the Military Transport Association of New Jersey’s Rally- attending each year with a team of helpers including his young children.
The one thing that Newman wants MVM readers to know is, “Eastern Surplus and Equipment caters to collectors!”
