Showcasing your olive drab pride and joys

We bleed olive drab when it comes to our love of military vehicles. Let's celebrate your rides while keeping the hobby strong!

Rusty Jebbia owns this nice 1953 M38a1. It has an M2 .50-cal HB machine gun replica with a simulator system that works off of oxygen and propane. It also has a working ANGRC 9 radio system and a 20,000 BTU gasoline fired heater. The trailer is a 1953 Dunbar Kapple that is fully loaded with Korean War military memorabilia.
Indeed it is! Quite a specimen too

Idaho MVPA President Bruce Gates has had his 1953 M37 with Browing M2 LB since 2000. “It was an old BLM brush fire truck from Okanogan, WA., when I got it from the BLM through eBay,” he says. “ It was that Korean War green underneath and over that were several coats of red and lime green. The odd thing is it only had 5,900 original miles on it when I got it. It took me about eight months to restore it. The gun is a wing gun from a P-51 Mustang. The Mustang that gun came from is in Boeing’s Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA. The truck was issued with a Browning 1919, but I read an article that told how the Marines would up-gun anytime they could find a .50 cal. At car shows the truck gets a lot of attention and it helps in recruiting new members for the club.
J. Duane Miller, of Southampton, PA, submitted this photo of his father, Lt. Lothar H. Miller in his “Peggy” (so named for his wife). This slat grille Willys appears to have unit or landing craft markings below the windshield (SEPT/w/532/S-22-44). Also note the add-on storage rack in the rear and spare tire mounted behind the right front fender, and the driver’s side half canvas door. This photo was taken in 1944 somewhere in the European theater of operation.
