HISTORICAL NOTE:

The M54’s all-steel cab and hard-bottom water crossing capability up to a depth of 30 inches without any preparation was a marked improvement over most WWII-era trucks. From 1954 to 1956, Mack produced 1,126 M54 cargo trucks. Over the following decade, Mack, International Harvester, Reo, Diamond T, Studebaker and Kaiser-Jeep all fulfilled M54 production contracts.

HISTORICAL NOTE:

The M332 replaced the WWII-era M10 trailer for transporting ammunition for field artillery. The trailer has a welded-steel, open-topped box mounted on a rectangular tubular steel framework.
