SACO Medal

During WW2, approximately 2,800 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel served in a weather information gathering unit to assist in planning aviation operations. The Sino-American Cooperative Organization Agreement unit (SACO) had an amazing record of only one combat death and four accidental deaths. This is their medal.
