WHEATON, Ill. – “It’s back by popular demand and sold- out," says promoter Bob Zurko of Chicagoland’s NATIONAL CIVIL WAR SHOW AND MILITARY EXTRAVAGANZA. The event will be held April 18 at the Du Page County Fairgrounds in Wheaton.

Thousands of fabulous artifacts from the Civil War will be offered for sale to collectors and connoisseurs. More than 200 tables of vintage firearms, medals, uniforms, books, ribbons, tokens, historical autographs, coins, tintypes, Civil War era jewelry, drums, photos and much more are featured, including military collectibles up to WWII.

In addition to the thousands of Civil War items for sale and investment, there will be Native American artifacts, plus Revolutionary and Spanish American War memorabilia for sale and much more!

The history of America’s rich heritage can be viewed on the hundreds of tables of historical artifacts for sale.

A special feature this year will be the “BATTLEFIELD BALLADEERS,” whose mission is to perform the songs and music of the American Civil War. The repertoire consists of the patriotic, sentimental and comic songs of the period along with minstrel favorites and the melodies of Stephen Foster. Unamplified acoustic instruments performed by a variety of personnel in museum quality uniforms bring to life the sounds of the Blue and Gray for all ages.

Civil War artillery will be available for viewing.

Show hours at the DuPage County Fairgrounds (County Farm & Manchester) will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $9; children 16 & under are free with an adult. Free Parking.
