The National WWII Museum to host free, Virtual International Conference on World War II March 5 – 6, 2021
The WWII Museum will host the world’s leading convention of WWII experts, students and enthusiasts online, and completely FREE to the public, for the first time on March 5-6, 2021.
WHAT:
Hosted by The National WWII Museum in New Orleans since 2006, The International Conference on World War II brings together the best and brightest scholars, authors, historians and witnesses from around the globe to discuss the war that changed the world, from key battles to much-debated controversies. Presented by the Pritzker Military Foundation, on behalf of Pritzker Military Museum & Library, the conference emphasizes enlightening presentations, engaging roundtable discussions, and audience Q&A sessions that provide viewers with unique insights into World War II.
Thanks to the generous support of the Pritzker Military Foundation, on behalf of Pritzker Military Museum & Library, the conference will be held in an entirely virtual format and completely free of charge for the first time, bringing educational sessions and world-renowned speakers directly to the comfort of viewers’ homes. Kicking off on March 5, 2021, the robust slate of programming will be streamed live, and recorded sessions will be available on demand after they air. The National WWII Museum looks forward to gathering in person for its November 2021 International Conference on World War II, as anticipated.
