WWII Weekend is one of New England’s premier living history events. This event is being held at the historic Deerfield Fairgrounds in Deerfield, NH. On July 21st and 22nd you will see some of the rarest military vehicles and weapons to have ever made it onto the battlefield. You will be able to tour massive WWII encampments, get up close and personal with real WWII armor, or simply get lost in 1940s music and culture with our Homefront displays and USO Show.
Feel the heat from the largest collection of operational military flamethrowers in the country and witness an impressive pyrotechnic display as we put together some of the most authentic battle sequences New Hampshire has ever seen. You can also tour the “Beyond WWII Display” where you can see many post-war vehicles and displays, which spans from the Korean War to the modern conflicts of today. Best of all, the proceeds go toward supporting the Mechanized Warfare Museum, whose main mission is to bring history alive and create a dynamic learning experience that is both educational and entertaining for Americans of all ages.
