Minnesota-based Vehicles For Veterans donates over $108,000 to support military families through Hope for the Warriors

Vehicles For Veterans donation to the Hope for the Warriors foundation will benefit programs for post-9/11 military families.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. – Vehicles For Veterans recently donated over $108,000 to Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a foundation of stability, strength and community for post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families.

Based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and through its Vehicles For Veterans program, Car Donation Foundation vehicle donation program provides funding to nonprofits with a mission to build better lives for injured veterans and their families in need of assistance and support.

Since 2018, Vehicles for Veterans has donated over $2,254,300 to Hope for the Warriors and its programs benefiting military families.

“Vehicles for Veterans has had an incredible year in 2024, with our donations reaching new heights,” said Loren Dorshow, Vehicles For Veterans executive director. Thanks to the generous contributions from supporters across the country, we have been able to significantly expand our efforts to support veterans in need. Each vehicle donated directly helps fund critical programs and services that improve the lives of our veterans and their families. We are deeply grateful for the community’s ongoing support and look forward to continuing our mission of giving back to those who have given so much for our country.”

The donations to Hope for the Warriors continue to be used to fund a variety of its programs focused on providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and social support that builds community.

This includes the nonprofit’s Drive for Hope program, a comprehensive driving program in partnership with the Driver Rehabilitation Center of Excellence, designed to help service members and veterans regain the independence of driving again that was lost as a result of an injury.

“Vehicles For Veterans is a trusted partner in supporting our programs and military families here at HOPE,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO for Hope For The Warriors. “Getting veterans and their families back on the road again is our goal with the Drive For Hope program and these funds are critical in assisting as many families as possible with this HOPE program and more.”
