Federal agents descended on the property of Bob Hanabarger near Vandalia, Illinois, on July 31, 2018.They brought cranes and flatbeds to the home of the 82-year-old man who runs a military surplus business.

Agents from the US Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and ATF in addition to Illinois State Police searched through storage containers on Hanabarger’s property and seized boxes they found inside. The feds used a crane to lift one of the containers onto a flatbed trailer.

According to a Fox2News report,neighbors said Haranguer bought and sold military surplus, ranging from uniforms to canteens. He sold through rummagesales and online through a business called Wildlands Outdoor Equipment.

The US Attorney’s Office did not reply to Fox2News request for a comment on the raid.
