James D. Julia Auctioneers will be auctioning a firearms collection of Don and Kathleen Bryan at the Extraordinary Firearms Auction on March 14-15, 2016.

In antique firearm collecting, the most elusive category has been Confederate Arms and the scarcest items have been Confederate made revolvers. Only about 7,500 were manufactured during the entire war. Colt produced in excess of 20,000 revolvers sometimes in a single month.

Mr. Bryan made a goal not to just put together a collection but to collect only the finest examples that could be had.

In some cases, his revolver is either the only one known to exist or one of only two or three in existence.
