It was a ‘Spring Fling’
National Road Military Antiques Show featured plenty of treasures.
On May 12-13, 2023 military enthusiasts and collectors had a fun-filled buying-selling-trading event at the National Road Military Antiques Show. The event is held at in Zanesville, Ohio at the Muskingum County Fairground where the Veteran’s Complex Hall is located. The location is within an hour of Columbus and enthusiasts could easily attend from major cities such as Cleveland and Pittsburgh, both an easy 2-hour drive via interstate highways. The show featured a vast array of quality militaria including helmets, uniforms, and man examples of medals, insignia, and weapons. Even major military artwork was on display. The enthusiastic dealers shared major collections resulting from years of collecting with many historical artifacts. The 250-table show was a welcome chance for collectors to make new finds between major shows such as Show of Shows and the Max Show in early fall. More importantly, there was an opportunity for collectors to meet the same dealers found at larger military shows.
