Kramer Auction Service of Prairie du Chien, Wis. conducted its fifth and final gun auction of 2015 on Dec. 5.

The top seller of the day was a beautiful Weatherby Crown Grade MKV rifle chambering in 257 Wby Mag. The Crown grade is the highest grade of rifles offered by Weatherby. It found a new home for $6,700.

Then straight out of a closet in the Chicago area came a NIB Model 71 Deluxe Winchester Rifle in 348 WCF that went for $4,300.

An early Winchester 1866 SRC in 44 Rimfire had lots of miles in the saddle but still demanded $3,850.

A Smith Civil War Carbine in nearly unissued condition shot brought $3,600.

Top gun in the custom precision category was a Boreden Accuracy Target rifle in 308 cal. It reached $3,200.

A pair of well used but rare early Colt SP1 AR15 rifles without the forward assist demanded $1,600 each.

Another rare item was a German WWII Model 1942 Seitengewehr bayonet. One of the rarest and most interesting blades of WWII demanded $2,300 before finding a new owner.
